Emervel is not currently approved for use in the US, so I can not comment on its use, but hyaluronic acid fillers, such as Restylane and Juvederm are excellent options for lip enhancement.  They add volume predictably, and safely, to the lips to improve lip plumping, and can last from 3-6 months at a time.  To obtain the best results, I always recommend you see a board-certified injector who can take the time to get your desired results.
